With the view of the foreign educational qualifications practices of recognition development and improvement, the MES of Ukraine together with the ENIC Ukraine in February 2020 initiated the establishment of the Ukrainian Network for the Recognition of Foreign Educational Qualifications UaReNet.
On the March 2, 2020, in Kyiv the First Inaugural Conference of the Ukrainian Network for the Recognition of Foreign Educational Qualifications UaReNet took place with the participation of more than 80 representatives from the Ukrainian higher educational institutions. Today the UaReNet Network unites credential evaluators from more than 100 HEIs of Ukraine.
On the April 18, 2024, at 10 a.m. the Second Conference of Ukrainian Network for the Recognition of Foreign Qualifications UaReNet will take place.
We invite specialists on recognition of foreign educational qualifications from higher education institutions that are the members of the UaReNet Network to participate in the work of the Conference.
The event will be dedicated to sharing best practices of educational qualifications recognition, review of the monitoring results of the HEIs decisions as competent authorities on recognition. Within the event, discussion of the automatic recognition and substantial difference concepts, conceptions of "access" and "admission" to the higher education programs will take place.
Date held: April 18, 2024.
Timing: from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Format of the event: mixed (offline/online).
Participants: foreign partners, the MES of Ukraine, the ENIC of Ukraine and higher education institutions – the members of the UaReNet Network.
During the Conference, photo and video shooting will be carried out for use of the materials in the thematic resources.
Participation is free of charge. The conference is organized with the financial assistance of the Council of Europe within the framework of the project UaReConnect: "Reconnecting Ukrainian Educational Area" and with the assistance of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
